Cultural & Political Psychologist || Data Scientist

Last updated: 2023-06-04

Hello, and welcome to my personal website!

Currently, I am working as a Senior Lecturer (Mâitre-assistant) & Data Scientist at the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences (University of Geneva, Switzerland). I consider myself a cultural and political psychologist, broadly defined. Working at the intersection of a variety of fields in the cultural, social, and behavioral sciences, I adopt an integrative perspective to the study of intercultural, interspecies, and human-environment relations in which I employ methods from cultural, social, and environmental psychology, political science, and sociology—while incorporating theoretical insights from emerging perspectives in anthropology. In my research I employ qualitative as well quantitative methods. Topics of particular interest to me are social and ecological (in)equality, climate change, speciesism, pro-environmental behaviors, anthropocentrism, misinformation and conspiracy beliefs, prejudice and discrimination, well-being, and political ideologies amongst others.

My research has been featured in the Washington Post, Die Welt, Der Spiegel, Varsity, and other outlets.
